Welcome to our second annual sustainability report – which marks the start of a new journey. This new edition provides an analysis of the impact of recent policy reversals by the UK Government on crucial green initiatives.

Whilst the report also delves into the concerns among small businesses ranging from lack of access to grants and funding for green projects and a perceived lack of prioritisation of environmental issues by the major UK political parties. It also highlights the progress small businesses have made since 2022 in transitioning their businesses – a move that involves putting sustainability at the heart of their business planning, despite government policy.
