Novuna moves to new office premises in Newbury to accommodate growing workforce

One of the UK’s largest vehicle leasing companies, Novuna Vehicle Solutions have relocated to new office premises in Newbury, Berkshire, this week. The move to The Sector from its previous office on Kiln Road is being made to cater for modern ways of working for colleagues, customers and suppliers, and to ensure its workspaces reflect the company’s values of sustainability and cooperation.

A team of partners and colleagues worked together to create a singular vision for the new space; one that reflects the finance company’s bold commitments to sustainability. The idea of ‘bringing the outside in’ which would deliver both energy and tranquillity, supports its joint strategic priorities of Decarbonisation and a Customer First culture.

The distinctly collaborative environment features a combination of comfortable desk areas, multiple collaboration areas and flexible conference and training facilities catering for over 200 Novuna employees. The Newbury premises were designed with an ultimate aim to create a welcoming, warm and friendly base; a place where colleagues would be proud to work and host business meetings.

Sustainability has been a hallmark of every corner of the development. All of the timber used in the office construction is from sustainable sources, via Travis Perkins, while carbon neutral carpets, LED lighting, PIR Sensors and timer controls have all been called on to reduce the building’s environmental burden. Novuna has also recycled or reused elements of furniture and IT infrastructure from previous offices wherever possible.

Outside, the parking area also includes 18 brand new 22kW AC chargers for Electric Vehicles (EVs), supporting colleagues to embrace Novuna’s mission to electrify its car and small van fleet by 2030.

On Friday 30 September, Novuna hosted an open day at the new offices, welcoming colleagues with tours, and a Director’s Briefing that was streamed live across the business. Local mental health charity FINK, provided catering for all in attendance.

In addition to its new premises in Newbury, Novuna Vehicle Solutions continues to retain a presence with its headquarters in Trowbridge.
