Fleet Decarbonisation

Our Vehicle Solutions division is at the forefront of the electrification movement, leading the charge in helping some of the UK's biggest fleets make a positive impact on the environment and their bottom line by switching to fully electric fleets.

As part of our market-leading end-to-end decarbonisation strategy, we’re aiming to electrify every single car and small van in our fleet, along with half of our funded van fleet, by 2030.

Sustainable Transport

Our strategic partnership with GRIDSERVE is accelerating the transition to electric vehicles by creating the infrastructure required for EV adoption on a large scale, powered by sustainable energy.

In the last financial year (FY2022/23), we provided £75.6 million of funding which helped GRIDSERVE power the equivalent of 26 million electric vehicle miles whilst saving 1423 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

We're in this for the long haul, funding projects in the UK renewable energy and transport sectors, critical to the decarbonisation of the UK’s infrastructure.

Sustainable Energy

In FY 2022/23, our Business Finance division facilitated over £184 million in Farm Loans. This included a select number of biomass, heat pump, and solar installations, as well as an allocation of £32.5 million towards irrigation systems.

A number of these projects work alongside government grants for environmental schemes. Funding in this sector is vital to future-proof agricultural businesses whilst contributing to environmental goals.
